The completion of One/NEO in 2002 marked the beginning of the ground breaking transformation of the former military base Fort Bonifacio into the leading business center known as Bonifacio Global City. As one of the early development projects in the area, NEO’s inaugural building paved the way for the rest of the NEO portfolio and, consequently, the other office and residential buildings that today occupy the city. In 2013, NEO formed a partnership with SM Investments Corporation to accelerate its growth and development in portfolio management.

NEO is the first portfolio in the world to acquire the International Finance Corporation’s EDGE Zero Carbon certification, achieving net zero following a sustainability journey that was rooted in nurturing tenant connection and implementing green building design and operations with 5 Stars BERDE Certification. NEO is one of the first in Southeast Asia to earn the WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Equity Rating from the International WELL Building Institute, guaranteeing safe, healthy and inclusive spaces for its community of occupants, visitors, and stakeholders. All NEO buildings are also rated A+ in the International Finance Corporation’s Building Resilience Index framework, further enhancing the safety and resilience of NEO’s built environment.
